Hotel Europa is close to S. Anna Hospital,
to the main monuments and museums, to the Public Offices
and the Courthouse of the city. Ferrara University
has its own seat as well as the majority of its halls in the
city centre. The base of Nato Caoc 5 Poggio Renatico
is about 15 kilometres far from downtown Ferrara.

Ferrara Fair is about ten minutes by car far from
Hotel Europa. Reaching Bologna Fair is easy both
for people who come from Ferrara and those who go to Ferrara
as you find it getting to the motorway entrance for Ferrara
on the Ferrara Road (in Italian "Via Ferrarese").

By car:
the North and South exits of the A 13 Motorway are about the same distance from the city centre and then from the hotel. Hotel Europa staff suggests to choose Ferrara North exit and to follow the indications for downtown Ferrara. You take the main street, Viale Cavour, and, after about 1 kilometre, find the Estense Castle on your right. Continuing on this way, you find Hotel Europa just after 100 metres on the opposite side of the road, in Corso Giovecca (getting to the Estense Castle, Viale Cavour changes its name in Corso Giovecca). Viale Cavour and Corso Giovecca can be covered in both the directions.
By train:
when you arrive at Ferrara train station you find taxis (Radiotaxi
phone number 0532 900900) and bus stops (bus number 9 arrives directly
in front of Hotel Europa). The distance between Ferrara train station
and Hotel Europa is about 1,5 kilometres.
By plane:
when you arrive at Bologna airport you can catch one of the shuttles that get to Bologna train station, where you find several trains getting to Ferrara. If you prefer to rent a car you have to take the ring road (in Italian "tangenziale") and then enter the A 13 Motorway and follow the indication for Padova.
